Ukraine: Dairy Sector
This page contains data regarding key components of the Ukrainian dairy industry over a given time period.
This report highlights the complexity of the industry, which should be analysed from several viewpoints:
in terms of milk production and delivery, the processing of the commodity into various products (powder, cheese, fermented milk, butter, etc.)
and exports towards Russia.
The relationship between milk production (substantial) and population (decreasing slightly) determines the amount of raw material at the country's disposal that can then be processed into a commodity for exportation.
