the first graph compares the quantity (tonnes), which is then translated by the second graph as an amount in USD ($US values).

The graphs are showed together with tables that clearly display both quantity and values, Area by Area. Data is updated on an annual basis since it is incorporated within a framework of rapid evolution.
Indeed, when viewed in their global context, the following are found to be changing rapidly:
  • the supply of products placed on the international market in relation to the development of domestic demand (population/GDP) and the quantities of milk production;
  • demand for the same products (in relation to the purchasing country's change);
  • the measures taken by individual countries (in relation to political and strategic choices, customs protection policies, etc.);
  • climatic conditions (drought, floods, etc.);
  • exogenous events that can affect the dynamics of demand and supply (from epidemics to the quest for alternative energy sources, lifestyle changes, etc.)
