This page provides with the comparison between the retail prices of Fresh Whole Pasteurized Milk (the benchmark is the Milan market) and the UHT Semi Skimmed Milk.

Changes on UHT Semi Skimmed Milk prices seem to be less remarkable in respect to the more fluctuating prices of Fresh Whole Pasteurized Milk: the reason has to be found in the competitive entry of Private Label as brand of Giant Retailers.

Among the different typologies of milk, the UHT (semi skimmed) type is the most appreciated by the Italian consumer.
